Deserves a better score.
Was surprised this didn't score higher, the art style is extremely polished and the gameplay unique enough to hold my interest. I guess it didn't have enough tits and explosions for the NG audience.
Presenting stocks as the highest form of gambling is a humorous dig, even if the stock system depicter in the game is simplistic and easily exploitable. I'm not really sure how buying a billion shares of a company works, or how you can get to have so many billions of dollars on hand so easily. I can appreciate the thin line being tread between simplicity and the complex can of worms that stock trading actually is, but it wouldn't have hurt to have gone a little further.
The only other issue is that there's nothing to do with the money. The process of earning it is fun, but ultimately there's nothing to do with it except gamble more, so it quickly loses its value, but I can understand how it's hard to add things to spend it on without turning the game into a full blown RPG.
Overall, an underrated game.
